Concerned by the abysmal conditions and total lack of basic facilities in schools in the poverty stricken Sunderbans area of West Bengal.  Inlaks Foundation decided to provide help and succor.

In these schools, Inlaks Foundation has built amenities like toilets and reading rooms for the students and this has been widely appreciated.

Provision is being made to encourage outstanding students from these schools to study further at the University level.
